AirMist "Direct Space" High Pressure (1000 psi) Humidity Control System - Information & Specifications

AirMist Humidity Control System Description — Operation — Features

The AirMist High Pressure (1000 psi) Humidity Control System is an all stainless steel pipe system with individual nozzles. Each nozzle attaches to stainless steel 4" wands that point in alternating directions for maximum moisture distribution. The stainless steel nozzle uses a Synthetic Mineral "Ruby Orifice" Insert which has an ultra smooth laser bored inner surface to insure for precision atomization with no foul, no drip performance. Generally, the placement of nozzle lines is over aisle ways and suspended from the ceiling. Atomized moisture evaporates quickly and completely above all equipment and workspace then rapidly equalizes within all available air space (Dalton’s Law of Partial Pressure)

The AirMist System operates automatically, controlled from a centrally located zone humidistat sensor which stores your desired relative humidity "set-point" and monitors the air % of relative humidity (RH). As humidity levels move below 2% of set-point, a "call for humidity" is sent via low voltage line to the pump station and 1000 psi water is sent to all nozzles in a zone. The pump powers on until set-point is reached and then the entire system powers off. A typical system powers on and off for about ten minutes on average at fifteen minute intervals - 24/7 during the coldest months.

AirMist Design Benefits and Operational Features

  • 300 Series Stainless Steel Pipe and Fittings - Pre-fabricated high quality 3/8" and 1/2" rigid tubing featuring computerized robotic welding process which ensures consistent welds. Tube comes in 10 feet or 20 feet in length with standard nozzle spacing of 18", 24" or 30" (custom spacing available). Fittings are double ferruled high pressure compression fittings providing the integrity and durability of long term low maintenance performance. All components rated for up to 3000 psi.
  • Synthetic Mineral "Ruby Orifice" Insert Nozzles - AKA Ceramic Insert stainless steel high pressure nozzles are standard in all systems. This nozzle offers precision misting with no-drip no-leak performance. The accurate smooth bore of the Ruby nozzle is key to unmatched long life and repeatable performance. Nozzles and proper water treatment are the critical keys to effective and long term low maintenance.
  • Nozzles and Wands - installed by hand tightening without the need of special tools or sealants.
  • Two Year Warranty - on system parts and components. All system maintenance reduced to ten minutes per month.
